Ai Xelis is another local, but more of a party beach than Spartia. Not to mention where Mirella and her sister have spent many a summer as serving drinks in the scorching heat all day long!
This is a place you spend time more for the vibe than for the beach itself. They feature a beach bar with some great people, along with a rental shop where you can get canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and more. However, if you are planning on renting, it’s a good idea to bring cash as whether or not they take cards will depend on the day!
They also have volleyball courts that can be used. All in all this is a great place for a full day of activities and a few drinks while soaking up sun while staying close to home as it’s just a few minutes from Argostoli and Spartia to get here. Right next to the beach they also feature a stunning restaurant “Sea Salt”, if you get hungry, serving a top notch range of seafood.

Things to Note
This is another beach, where parking is a little bit wild west and with limited spots, so it’s worth trying to be a bit early. There is also a slightly steep downhill walk from the parking lot to the beach itself where cars are not allowed. So be careful if you have any injuries or disabilities which make it difficult to walk up- or downhill. Just let us know and we will do our best to help!
