Our Story
For those of you interested, we wanted to share a little more about how we got to where we are now. If you’re not interested then you’ll still read it because you love us, we are amazing and you are invited to our wedding 🙃
It all started a cold Thursday in February over the unlikely medium of an online dating app called “Bumble”. We quickly found chemistry and started talking regularly. Over the next month or so, we would message each other just about every day until I (Kent) finally managed to convince Mirella to let me take her on a real date. On St. Patrick’s day, March 17th, no less.

There was no doubt in my (still Kent) mind. Over the summer I had already started planning the proposal and wanted the special moment to take place somewhere close to my heart. So when Mirella bought her tickets to vist Norway over Christmas I knew exactly what I wanted it to look like.
During Christmas times in late December, I placed Mirella firmly on a snowmobile and started driving further and further into the desolate Norwegian mountains. After a while, on a remote peak, with snow and nature as far as the eye could see, I was preparing to go down on one knee and present the ring. While Mirella was taking in the view I was attempting to get down, but there was too much snow, so I ended up sinking down to my waist, while posing in an awkward, straddled position as I had to try to take a knee. As Mirella turns around I still to this day cannot remember what I said while fighting my way through the snow. However, I will never forget the “Yes” I heard in response to whatever I said as right there and then I felt like the luckiest, happiest man on earth.
Now the day has come where we go from “Yes” to “I do” and we couldn’t be more excited to be celebrating with you.

Sparks flew from the first celebratory Guinness we ordered and from there on out our relationship started developing… fast!
Only about 3 weeks later we went on our first getaway together, to the remote village of Kalavrita (picture below), Mirella quickly established herself in Fotis’ heart as a dogmommy and summer plans were already in the making.
In the summer we were privileged enough to be invited to a wedding in Paros, before Mirella invited me to spend 2 weeks with her and her family in Kefalonia, where we are now inviting you to celebrate this special day with us.
